Compare the attached photo taken an hour ago on Rock Creek this June 12th Friday afternoon with that taken at the same spot and posted to Der Blog (and via email to each of you) on May 29th, and better demonstrative evidence of the magnitude of this year's runoff is not to be found!
Indeed, first hand and on the very scene of it all (and having met with both our outfitter John "The Great Gould" and our land base operator Doug "Merc" Persico since my noon arrival on the soon-to-be scene of it all), I can assure you one and all that you are in for a fishing experience of the ages come Extravaganza 2009! Further, your Hostess With The Mostess, the beautifully wonderful Kocktail Kathy, has Headquarters in perfect shape in anticipation of your arrivals (in fact, Group B's Lori "The Fawn" Ware is already here for a family pre-trip--more about and from her in a later note) and all of the Extravagance that will surround this year's event (we DO reserve the right to treat you Extravagantly upon your arrival[s], you know!) is in on site and in place...all that we are now missing with rivers, home and goods on hand is now you.
